The Gemini IPA determines where critical business information is being transmitted, stored, and used, and then identifies the measures in place to keep that information safe. While no particular tool or technology is a panacea, there are certain information protection capabilities that should be in place at every organization, large or small.

The Gemini IPA eschews the traditional checkbox-focused assessment methodology and instead focuses on discussions with the individuals who know what is going on. Where and when appropriate, we can also use our significant technical capabilities to perform hands-on testing of systems, networks, and applications.

While the IPA is often used for assessing third parties (such as business partners, potential business partners, and potential merger/acquisition targets), it is also useful for self-assessment. Self-assessment provides an understanding of the information protection practices at an organization that can be used as a basis from which to launch additional processes, services, or capabilities.
